Gaultier’s Passion for Fashion

The De Young Museum plays host to “The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk” until August 19. This fabulous exhibit highlights Gaultier’s haute couture and prêt-à-porter designs created between the mid-1970s and 2010.

Gaultier’s fashion influence (and actual designs) can be seen in print, on the runways, and on film. Some of his most notable work has been worn by Madonna and Lady Gaga, and has also been shown in The City of Lost Children and Kika.
