Beasts of Balance
Gather the family around the table for board game night. Build, create and stack. It’s like Jenga, well kind of. First you will need to spend $100 bucks on the “starter pack” that includes the Plinth, which is the electronic interactive base plate and 24 “Artefacts” which are the animals. You will also need an iOS or Android device to play the game.

Starbucks and Doodling
Two of my favorite things. Doodling and Coffee.. Her other picture at Instagram are pretty awesome also.
Frankie’s Garage: MiniVan Time!
Guess what’s the biggest news at the New York Auto show. No, it’s not the new Ferrari or a new Lamborghini. And no, it’s not about how fast a car is going from 0 to 60mph, but instead, it’s the vacuum cleaner installed inside the new 2014 Honda Odyssey. The HondaVac is going to be included in the Odyssey Touring Elite and can run for eight minutes when the car is off and longer when the engine is running. This is also a dry vac, so as long as your kids don’t spill their favorite soda on the way to Costco, you’ll have a very clean interior.
Solid Gray “Bass Pack”
Did you ever get that feeling that when you first discover a great song track and you just want to share it with everybody? Well, strap one of these backpacks on and let the world know what you’re listening to – just be careful with annoying the people around you because you’re playing the music too loud. The design was a collaborative effort with Portland’s wonderfully imaginative portable sound system makers Case of Bass and the progressive backpack company Solid Gray. The backpack is still in the works and should be coming out in the next few months – you can see more pics of the backpack on Case of Bass’ blog here.

The Burger Stomper Pro
Baseball season is here! Which means summer is almost here! Which means BBQ season is right around the corner! I just love the smell of charcoal on a warm afternoon, and this year, I will be getting one of these Hamburger Stompers so I can stop making all those irregularly-shaped patties. With this, I’ll always have burgers at 6 ounces and slider patties at 2 ounces – making it just the right size for buns plus helping me manage the hamburger meat more efficiently. Now if I can only find a better turkey burger recipe…

Would You Like Cream, Sugar, or Creature in Your Coffee?
I get up pretty early for work and also on my days off. For instance, I’m writing this post at 5:48am in the morning. Currently, I’m downing coffee while I absentmindedly type away on the keyboard. Instead of depending on the coffee to jolt me awake, it’d be great to stare down into one of these cups to get my brain and eyes that surprise kick in the head I sorely need to get my day going. The regular 11 oz. cup goes for $15 while the larger 15 oz. one goes for $20 plus they’ve got plenty of sea and land creatures to choose from.

Use LEGO to store your Keys!
With tons of Lego stored up in containers and since I spend a lot of time looking for my keys, why didn’t I put two and two together and think of something like this? Well German architect Felix Grauer, who dabbles in photography and design in his free time, built something that even my son could build and, better yet, can be very functional for any home. One can hang up their house keys or even snap them together to make a nifty keychain of sorts.
