The Assassin’s Creed video game franchise over the years have used the comic book format to tell many stories from this universe. Now the Awakening series takes Assassin’s Creed towards manga-style art and storytelling. The Brotherhood and Templar Order are once again locked into battle.

I’ve been to Tokyo several times, but have never traveled to Osaka. Now I have a bucket list item to do, travel to Osaka for Gundam Square and eat some food at the Gundam Cafe. I’m not the most hardcore Gundam fan in the world, but I do like many of the animations and bought lots of the snap-on model kits as a kid. But what I really want to do is eat the “anime inspired” food!
“Hentai” apparel anyone? Well know street brand Supreme is teaming up erotic manga artist Toshio Maeda for a mini-capsule collection. The capsule collection features a jacket, sweatshirt, long sleeve tee, a pillow and 2 graphic tees. Look for the collection to drop in NYC and LA Supreme “physical” locations and online on February 27, 2015.
In Japan’s Ishikawa Prefecture is famous for Kutani-ware, which is a traditional porcelain style of bowls, plates, cups and chopsticks. To celebrate the 360th anniversary, the Kutani ceramic art style combines with futuristic Mobile Suit Gundam robots on sale for at Premium Bandai online and later at Gundam Cafes.

If you’re one of those Sailor Moon obsessed fans, then you may want to make a pilgrimage to this Sailor Moon Crystal themed cafe in Shinjuku, Japan. Sailor Moon has teamed up with Namco’s Anion Station to create the restaurant for a limited time, well until May 6th, 2015. The food and drink items are also Sailor Moon universe inspired.
I’m looking forward to AUTOart’s re-release of the iconic Toyota Trueno AE86 from the popular anime/manga “Initial D” by Shuichi Shigeno. If you’re a diecast car collector then you should also know the name AUTOart.
