Comic Con turns the Main Stage over to the residents of Dimmsdale, California Sunday October 29th for the LARGST-EVER cast reunion of the long-running Nickelodeon’s hit seriesThe Fairly OddParents! Creator Butch Hartman will be signing all weekend in his booth, as well as participating in a Q&A, and Tara Strong will be signing for fans all weekend long. Daran Norris, Carlos Alazraqui, Susan Blakely, and Grey Delisle will be signing on Sunday October 29th ONLY.

Even though this Retrenders got the big rejection on getting press credentials for AX, that still did not stop us! Since Ramen host Ramon Angel has never been to Anime Expo, we grab some friends and a mini-van (that really helps) and took a road trip down to SoCal for AX 2015 this July 4th weekend! Since our fresh camera operators Johnny Moreno and James Navarro couldn’t make the trip, we will do a Vlog series of videos on AX 2015. NYC-based Boundless Brooklyn known for it’s cardboard DIY lifeguard towers, water towers and billboard sign kits has teamed up with SoCal apparel brand Outre for the Art on Guard exhibit. I remember buying The Loyal Subjects (TLS) x Transformers Wave 1 blindboxes, because I’m a sucker for anything G1 Transformers related. The vinyl figures were decent and it looked cute. Since the 2013 Wave 1 release, TLS have upped the ante with their Wave 2 release with more points of articulation, accessories, sounds and lights. Now with this Transformers Wave 3 released the vinyl figures move a little like action figures and have cooler signature weapons related to the character. Some figures have light up LEDs or sound effects.
Once we arrived at Comikaze Expo we were christened by the powers of great opportunities and got an interview with Stan Lee! He’s a pretty busy guy these days, especially when everyone at Comikaze Expo wants to meet him…but who wouldn’t want to meet the man that gave birth to the pop culture of comics. With this great opportunity, our one and only “The Eddie” got to ask Stan Lee a couple of personal questions about the man and his comics.

Since 2007, Gallery 1988 has showcased their own annual “Crazy 4 Cult” series celebrating the magic of movies. With each year passing, the “Crazy 4 Cult” art show draws large crowds and stars in Hollywood looking to snap-up movie-inspired art pieces. Titan Books releases a new volume Crazy 4 Cult: Cult Movie Art 2 which collects various art pieces from the series.
