Lately Hot Wheels has been putting really cool JDM cars from the past and present at retail shelves. As you can see from my picture, I’ve been collecting tons of Hot Wheels JDM-type cars. Hot Wheels Car Designer Jun Imai talks his love for classic Nissan cars and creating the 1/64 diecast scale Nissan Fairlady 2000 for Hot Wheels.

Like the Hot Wheels X-Wing Carship, at the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story red carpet event, Nissan also had their Rogue SUV outfitted to look like a X-Wing fighter. The Nissan Rogue SUV was painted to look like the iconic X-Wing with jet engines and laser blasters fitted onto the sides of the car. And to top it off, an R2 Droid sat on top.
This legendary street/track ready car was available to play in the first Playstation Gran Turismo video game. Only 44 Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R NISMO 400Rs were produced, making this a very rare and special kind of automobile. Carfection takes a ride in this Godzilla.
It’s time for fun rides at the YomiuriLand amusement park in Japan. On March 2016, YomiuriLand opened a new attraction called Gujjoba aka Good Job Attractions, which is aimed at children about Japanese manufacturing pop culture. It took about 7 years and $90 million USD involved to build the new attractions. It features 4 factories: Food Factory by Nissin Food Products, Stationary Factory by Kokuyo, Fashion Factory and for the car geeks – CAR Factory by Nissan. I’ve been a fan Tomica’s recent product line: Tomica Premium 1/64 scale die-cast cars. Yes, I admit, one of my guilty pleasures is watching the Fast & Furious franchise movies. The Fast & Furious have licensed many diecast approved collectible cars over the years, but this 1:43 scale diecast collection from GreenLight Collectibles is pretty sweet. I just picked-up several of these cars at Toys’R’Us.
Nissan has released various special editions of it’s GT-R in over the years, now comes the 2015 NISMO Nissan GT-R N Attack Package available in U.S. through aftermarket tuning company Stillen. This ultimate track package GT-R variant attacked the famous German track Nürburgring in a record 7 minutes and 8 second lap time.
Finally, another episode of Tuner Club! This show takes a look at tuning house Wacky Mate in Japan and their very own 1993 Nissan Skyline R32. The 800hp beast was built for grip driving and time attacks. The R32 has been heavily modified and tuned.

Stationed in Japan, Collen Kelton owned a 1995 Nissan Skyline GTR R33 and he was getting kinda bored with the factory gray color and decided to let his wife Allison draw on the bumper with a Sharpie marker.
