Movie Review: Teen Titans Go! To The Movies

The DC movie we do not need but what we deserve.

As I am typing this review, DC/WB just announced the Super Pets. After watching Teen Titans, this shows a possible route the studio is going towards after the many DC films with the mix reviews it had received.

The film starts off with an action introduction and speeds through the exposition of who each of the members are. The story kicks in gear when they realize the lack of attention they get in comparison to the Justice League. After watching a few trailers showcasing Batman’s gadgets, it wear Robin realize they should get a movie of there own.

seismanosThis animated trailer looks intriguing.  This takes place on the border town of San Simon, Mexico late 1970s.  A Chinese immigrant Chiu Lee Man takes in 3 orphan kids who he mentors and trains in way of martial arts.  When he is murdered, the 3 kids: Silencio, Isabela, and Jesus team up with a DEA Agent and Federale officer to seek revenge against the cartel.

It Took Me 10-Years to Build My LEGO Wall-E

The Art and Making of The Peanuts Movie

TransformersCoverIn the age of digital downloads and streaming music, who goes to the record stores and buys the physical copy?  Well, if you’re an old-school fanboy like me, this is one CD you should definitely buy, The Transformers:  The Movie Original Motion Picture Score by Vince DiCola.  Let’s not mistake these soundtrack CDs for the Michael Bay live-action crap, this is the 1986 animated Transformers flick.  Yes, you should be aware The Transformers: The Movie CD which came out in 1986, but that CD featured all the pop songs like “The Touch” & “Dare” and only a couple of score tracks.  This release features 25 tracks of music score from the movie.

Miles from Tomorrowland Talking Action Figure

milestomorrowlandboxartOne of the new animated shows on Disney Junior is Miles from Tomorrowland and stars the Callisto family who live on the spaceship Stellosphere and work for the TTA (Tomorrowland Transit Authority).  This Miles Talking Action Figure stands 12″ tall and has light-up effects, 15 talking phrases from the animated show, articulated legs, helmet visor, torso throwing action and boomerang-like weapon.
