Japan: FitEar ToGo 334

I attend the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas every year (I hope to bring back some great pics for Retrenders at next years show) and I have heard my share of amazing audiophile-quality headphones. Most of the high end $500+ headphones are over-the-head styles and I don’t remember ever seeing or hearing a pair of in-ear headphone in that price range. That’s why I was really drawn to Cnet’s “Best In-Ear Headphone” claim.

The FitEar ToGo 334 is made in Japan and has a price tag of $1,349 USD. One good thing about this is that it a universal headphone in that it can fit anyone’s ears – no need to pay extra for custom fitting. Also, it comes with four balanced armature drivers (one bass, two midranges, one tremble) and it fits in that tiny little headphone shell – just can’t wait to test out a pair of these.

  1. Is the exhibit free for all? No entrance fee and/or no invitation needed? Thanks!

    • The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) happens in Las Vegas every year during the second week of January. CES will be on Jan. 8-11, 2013. It’s not open to the public, only to industry people and media/press. I’m lucky enough to get media passes.

    • To expand on Stephen’s answer, yes CES is not open to the public, but if you have a blog that receives 1,000 unique monthly views and have written an consumer electronic-related article published within the last three months, then you should be eligible for media badges. Here’s the link to the media badge form: http://registration3.experientevent.com/showCES131/pdfs/Press_Reg.pdf. Also, you can just apply as an attendee but you will need to be professionally affiliated with the consumer electronics industry. Hope you can attend and if you do go, remember to wear some comfortable shoes – there will be a lot of walking around the exhibits!
