The History of the Legendary Streetwear Brand: BAPE

Iconic streetwear brand A Bathing Ape (BAPE) is celebrating its 20th Anniversary.  This video takes us on a journey of 20 years of BAPE and where many streetwear brands and labels are fallen by the wayside, BAPE is still here kicking it and rocking the fashion industry.

It’s hard to believe 20 years has past since BAPE first popped-up in Japan as a tiny retail store in 1993.  Legendary fashion artist and founder NIGO has built BAPE into an icon and redefined the urban fashion scene with incredible stylish graphic tees, hoodies and custom sneakers.
