Lego x Star Wars = Maurits Cornelis Escher’s “Relativity”

Does this LEGO creation look like a famous drawing?

“Star Wars Relativity V2” by Paul Vermeesch.

If yes, it’s a Star Wars themed LEGO recreation of M.C. Escher’s “Relativity” (1953) art piece.

This is Paul Vermeesch’s “Star Wars Relativity V2.”  The 16 year-old Paul took around 6 months to plan and build.  The brick count by Paul’s estimates is around 2,000 – 3,000 LEGO bricks.  This is a 1x1x1 foot piece.  There are so many amazing details that Paul put into this work.  You have to check out the mini-LEGO theater he put into the set piece.  Just too cool.

Big geektastic thumbs up Paul!
