Brazilian artist Angelica Dass is attempting to catalog a “chromatic inventory” of all possible human skin tones in her Humanae Project. She takes an 11 x 11 picture of an individual, and matches it to a similar shade in the Pantone color classification system. Rather remarkable and simply mesmerizing.
How amazing would this be if these Pantone shades were used in real life? I’d like to be able to walk into Sephora and grab a bottle of Pantone 60-7 C in whatever brand and know that it’ll match me 100% without any muss.
