Star Trek Currency – Canadian Silver Coins

Oh Canada!  The Royal Canadian Mint have printed a set of Star Trek Silver Coins.  The subscription service will cost over $220CAD for the 4 coin Star Trek collection.

• Coin 1: Captain Kirk (priced at $54.95, ships in May, 2016)
• Coin 2: Scotty (priced at $54.95, ships in July, 2016)
• Coin 3: Uhura (priced at $54.95, ships in August, 2016)
• Coin 4: Spock (priced at 54.95, ships in September, 2016)

Apparently you can actually use these coins to buy stuff.  I guess I’ll buy some Canadian maple honey when I’m in Vancouver.
