Time Travel to Battle Dinosaurs & Kill Nazis

Do you want heavy action, time travel elements, sci-fi mumble jumble, big dinosaurs and Nazis? Then creator/writer/artist Stuart Jennett takes us on an old school journey with Chronos Commandos. Titan Comics collects the first 5 issues of the Dawn Patrol story arc.

Chronos Commandos: Dawn Patrol Vol. 1 takes place in the 1940s, the height of World War II. Both the US Military and Nazis have acquired technology to time travel back to the Dinosaur Age. The top-secret Chronos Commandos are created to stop the Nazis. The program is led by “Sarge” aka The Sergeant, but we don’t know his real name. He’s like Halo’s Master Chief. The Sarge is a one man wrecking machine, a leader of men and the ultimate Nazi killer. The science guy is the “Prof” aka the Professor, he looks like Albert Einstein and is the Emmett “Doc” Brown, except without the “flux capacitor.” Instead, these time travel machines use the “Chronos Core.”

All hell breaks lose when the Sarge returns from a mission and finds that Nazi secret agents have broken into the base and that the Chronos Core is gone. The Sarge forms a rag-tag unit to time travel back to the Dinosaur Age and hunt down the stolen “MacGuffin” device.

If you like dinosaurs eating people and WWII action, then this is for you. As you read along, you probably won’t need fancy beer like Chimay in a Chalice Cup, but probably more like a pint of Guinness and fried chips. If you see Chronos Commandos on the comic book shelves, pick it up and take a look.
