Enter the movie, Beat Street.  Dance halls in the 80s were ripe with talent and unabridged creativity.  And, you know, they were just plain FUN!

I mean, really, if someone stepped on your sneaks during your Running Man, well….you just faced off with said offender, made some room, and “battled it out.”

I really miss those days …
