Flashback: Rock Lobster (1978)

O.K….so who didn’t love this song back in the day?!  The B-52’s had a particular musical style that was just plain fun and fabulous.

Formed in Athens, Georgia in the late 70s, the B-52’s were infamous for churning out a raucous party vibe.  My friend, Traci, and I were recently reminiscing about those “old days.”  How we would run to the dance floor in junior high (yes, junior high!) with the first sound of that famous guitar riff: …dum-dum-dum, da-da, da-da, da-dum….!
