Hungry for Recipes: Sweet Potato Sliders & BBQ Turkey

sweetpotatoturkeyslidersI have two fellow Retrenders bloggers that are health freaks namely Johnny Moreno and Kelly Ann Brooke, and yeah I’m calling you guys out.  They always tell I’m eating way too much carbs, or don’t eat this, don’t eat that, or you can cook this or that!  Okay, I get the message.  Simple and quick – the Sweet Potato Sliders & BBQ Turkey.

This will lower your carb intake, instead of bread, the secret is using sweet potatoes as the buns for the sliders.  And instead of red meat or yummy bacon, some lean turkey with BBQ infused sauce.  Add spinach and a side of blueberries and they you go!  Guys, let’s try this yummy recipe this weekend.  Under 400 calories for this meal.

The Detail Recipe: 6oz lean turkey, 150g sweet potato slice, arugula & spinach, BBQ sauce (low sodium), finish off with paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic, pepper and diced bell peppers.
