Just in time for Arrow Season 5 on the CW Network. This companion book is Oliver Queen’s Dossier, it is Oliver’s notes and clippings on his battle to fight crime in Starling City.
Oliver gathers up newspaper clippings, government documents, images, blueprints and maps while writing down his notes and opinions on post-its. The dossier profiles allies, friends and enemies. The book also provides information on weapons and vehicles used on the show.
I admit, I’m a huge Arrow fan, since it’s CW TV network debut 4 seasons ago. I’ve watched every episode so far with pure enjoyment and also gone back to buy classic Green Arrow comics and toys, so yeah, I’m a Green Arrow fanboy. Fans of the show will know when watching Arrow on TV, there are lots of characters and world building and sometimes certain characters don’t get enough back story, so Titan Books recently released a brand-new paperback novel “Arrow: Vengeance” which focuses on the villains point of view.
Even though I grew up as a Marvel fanboy, I did buy my fair share of DC Comics, but I was never a fan of the Green Arrow. That all changed when I watched the first episode of Arrow; now I’m addicted to all things Green Arrow. I’ve actually made trips to comic book stores and bought many of Mike Grell’s legendary Green Arrow run and picked up the underrated trade paperback Green Arrow: Year One by writer Andy Diggle and artist Jock. Already knee-deep into Arrow’s 3rd Season, this Titan Book’s Arrow: Heroes & Villains release comes in at the right time.
It’s always exciting to see a TV Series based on a comic book superhero. And this Fall, CW will launch Arrow based on DC Comics’ Green Arrow. The time slot will be Wednesdays at 8pm.
