I wish I could go back in time and tell my 1980s self not to damage, throwaway or giveaway my various Kenner DC Super Powers action figures. I was at Walgreens this week and finally spotted the Walgreens exclusive Gentle Giant LTD release of the DC Super Powers Micro Figures. The 2″ PVC figures in Series 1 features Batman, Robin, Joker, The Flash and Lex Luthor. The packaging is reminiscent of the 1980s Kenner DC Super Powers line-up.
A double dose of Viral Video Friday, here’s a parody song by Sydney Amber with Harley Quinn singing “Do You Wanna Kill The Batman?” Taken from the hit animated Disney film “Frozen”, the song “Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?” And if you haven’t seen “Frozen,” then jump on the bandwagon and grab the Blu-ray!

I dig reading DC’s reboot awhile back, The New 52 and picked up various trade paperbacks from this series. So if you’re fan of the New 52, you might want to grab this action figure pack.
This amazing Joker’s Funhouse playset made from LEGO has lots of cool stuff like light effects, moving parts, and tons of mini-figures. Built by custom LEGO builder Paul Hetherington, the Joker’s Funhouse won Best in Show at this year’s BrickCon.
This is one really cool trailer – Lex Luthor and Joker team up and the Justice League comes together for LEGO-style action & comedy.
Well if you can’t afford to buy Hot Toys’ The Dark Knight Rises vehicles (for instance the Movie Masterpiece 1/6 Scale Tumbler vehicle is $439.99 for preorder and will be out next year – ed. note), then you can build The Tumbler and The Bat vehicles yourself. These two awesome looking Batman vehicles were built by super LEGO builder Peer Kreuger aka mahjqa.
I remember picking-up Marvel Comics 4-issue series Marvels by writer Kurt Busiek and artist Alex Ross. The paintings created by Ross were life-like and amazing. So is this photography project “Super Hero” by photographer Agan Harahap.
Expressionist-style art with a modern superhero twist. Inspired by Edvard Munch’s famous painting – The Scream:
