Yoda Wind-Up for My Cubicle

Even though I have a pretrend “memory lost” of the Star Wars prequels, I did geek out when in Attack of the Clones (2002), Yoda had his CGI light saber battle. So from the Disney Store, I ordered my very own Yoda Wind-Up Flipping Toy just for my little workstation. Just wind it up and watch the 3″ Yoda figure flip around.

Star Wars: The Adventures of Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight

I recently had spare time to review a bunch of books and stuff, and one on the list is from Disney Worldwide Publishing, Star Wars: The Adventures of Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight. What a novel approach to this book project, take the original Star Wars concept art from Ralph McQuarrie and tie-in the 3 movies: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi into one book.

WTF – Is George Lucas re-releasing another Blu-Ray cut of the Star Wars Trilogy with additional scenes and new 3D effects? Nope. This time, Dark Horse Comics is publishing the original “Star Wars” rough draft by George Lucas before the mega-iconic 1977 hit film Star Wars.
