The museum is located near the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and in Presidio Park. The museum explores the life and times of Walt Disney. The Walt Disney Family Museum also showcases other exhibitions.

If you’ve been to the beach for a swim, you usually see a lifeguard tower, well this gallery event is Art on Guard, a show of artists building miniature scale Lifeguard Towers. This will be the first show of its kind on the West Coast and it will be held tonight at Woot Bear in San Francisco, CA. Soft drink company Coca-Cola marks the 100 years the Coca-Cola glass bottle with an artistic celebration. Over 130 artists, designers and illustrators from around the world took part. to take part. Coca-Cola has collected over 250-pieces and will do a traveling art tour, The Coca-Cola Bottle Art Tour: Inspiring Pop Culture for 100 Years.
If you’re in Taipei this August through September, stop by artist Martin Hsu’s exhibition “In Dreams” at the Wrong Gallery. “In Dreams” is Martin Hsu’s take on “Little Red Riding Hood” and bowl of noodles. The “In Dreams” exhibition runs from August 9th thru September 2nd, 2014.

Around the world over, many consumers like to buy “luxury brands” and it says many things about our consumer buying culture. Artist/Designer Peddy Mergui takes at look at trend with his “Wheat is Wheat is Wheat” exhibition at the Museum of Craft & Design San Francisco. The art series focuses on “What If” high-end companies made regular food item packaging.

Spoke Art gallery in San Francisco is showcasing the latest works “Guns & Ecstasy” by Bay Area sculptor and painter Scott Hove. He’s known for making fake cakes from cake making tools. “Guns & Ecstasy features 12 cake inspired assault weapons. The exhibition runs through May 25, 2013 @ Spoke Art located on 816 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA 94109.
German artist Wolfgang Stiller calls this his “Matchstickmen” series. He came up with an idea of creating large-scale wooden matchsticks with burnt head molds. It’s creative and a little creepy.

What woman would have someone dig in your private purse – the security blanket that you carry with you? But Hans-Peter did pay to look in each hangbag for €5oo.
