Food: Making Pork Buns

Gap HK – Gap Remix Project

Brainquake by Samuel Fuller

brainquakecoverA-List directors like Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola and Quentin Tarantino have been inspired by the works of Samuel Fuller (The Big Red One).  The World War II veteran, was both a director and author.  He wrote “Brainquake” in 1993 while living in France, and now fans can re-discover Fuller’s last novel published and translated into English by Titan Books and Hard Case Crime.

Beyond Rue Morgue: Further Tales of Edgar Allan Poe’s First Dectective

The short story “The Murders in the Rue Morgue” appeared in Graham’s Magazine in 1841 and kicked off an influential fictional character in which he uses his brains and wit instead of guns and physical combat to solve mysteries.

Nintendo 3DS & Louvre

My own guided tour!

The Nintendo 3DS and the famous Paris museum, the Louvre, teamed up on a really cool project.  Now you have can have your own guided audio/visual tour of the Louvre on the 3DS.  If you haven’t been to Paris I suggest if you had time to check this magical city out.  I spent around 2 weeks in Paris and let me tell you, it was not enough time (also a really good INXS song).  I also spent like 3 days in the Louvre which is truly not much time.  The Louvre is so big and has so much art and history.  It can be overwhelming.
