Frankie’s Garage: Hardcore Hot Wheels Collector

Its a mix of Hot Wheels, Matchbox and Tomica diecasts, but this guy takes the cake.  Toy car collector Bruce Pascal’s Hot Wheels collection is valued at over a $1 million dollars.  This guy is hardcore with a Hot Wheels inspired room to put his over 3,500 plus Hot Wheels toys.  Bruce also has 175 special Hot Wheels prototypes.

Takara/Tomy Metalkore Marvel Figures

metalkoremarvelJust dropping into retail in Asia is Takara/Tomy have added more figures to their Metalkore Marvel line-up.  Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor and the Hulk join in on the action.  The figures have very limited articulation, just the arms move, but if you like a mix of plastic, diecast and for display, these figures are a nice pick-up.

Takara Tomy Star Wars Action Figures

GreenLight Collectibles 1:43 Fast & Furious Collection

Frankie’s Garage: AUTOart ReRelease – Initial D AE86

autoartar86truneocoverI’m looking forward to AUTOart’s re-release of the iconic Toyota Trueno AE86 from the popular anime/manga “Initial D” by Shuichi Shigeno.  If you’re a diecast car collector then you should also know the name AUTOart.  This incredible HK toy company makes super detailed diecast cars, and this 1:18 scale “Fujiwara Tofu Ten” AE86 looks amazing.

Frankie’s Garage: What’s Wrong with This Picture?

Who is the scumbag that did this? It’s messed up.

The team at Retrenders was happily strolling down the Target toy aisle and spotted this odd looking item.  This is clearly not a Pontiac Firebird!  The person who returned this item must have bought it and took the original Hot Wheels out and replaced it with a cheap look alike die-cast car.  Look at what you buy.
