Gallery Nineteen Eighty Eight with Sony Pictures is kicking off a super 30th anniversary celebration of the 1984 Ghostbusters film that starred Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and late Harold Ramis. The famous pop-culture art hangout Gallery Nineteen Eighty Eight will do a 4-city traveling art show exhibiting original artwork, prints and apparel.
Not to be mistaken for Staples, the brick and mortar shop that sells office supples, this is STAPLE. Since 1997, they’ve been repping NYC streetwear culture and lifestyle. For Lookbook, they’ve teamed up with online retailer Karmaloop for their look for 2014 Spring.

Urban streetwear companies are a dime a dozen and some last a couple of days, or couple of years, or they can change the game and make a fashion statement, and this year Mishka celebrates it’s 10 years in the business with this mini-capsule collection with the Decade of Destruction.
Recently Mishka dropped their Fall 2013 Women’s Lookbook. This Fall Collection theme is color aggressive, a does of punk-rock with a sprinkle of yuppie-glam. The 36-piece collection features leggings, graphic tees, jackets, button shirts and pants.

These days, everyone knows the two big comic book publishing giants – DC Comics and Marvel Comics. In the 1940s, there was another big comic book publisher, Harvey Comics, and one of it’s better known characters is Casper the Friendly Ghost. Harvey Comics has been defunct since 1994, but it’s back in this collab with apparel company Mishka NYC.
Instead of using wood, I’m thinking of just using LEGO bricks for my staircase!
