It has been a little over a year since Pokemon Go has come out and we here at Retrenders have played through all of its highs and low points. When the game first hit our phones, tons of players from all over the world were playing together to catch Pokemon int he real world. Months went by and with a lack of updates, the number of players dropped drastically. Right about the time of the one year anniversary, Niantic finally gave us a new big update introducing us to the Pokemon of the Johto region. With new Pokemon, came the return of some players. But the game was still missing one thing… Legendary Pokemon!
During this years Pokemon Festival in Chicago which happened a little over a week ago, Niantic introduced the world to its first set of Legendary Pokemon, Articuno and Lugia! Don’t forget everyone, ID10T Festival will be this weekend June 24th and 25th, at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. But this wont be your normal comic convention, it will have big musical acts such as OK GO and WEEZER along side tons of comedy acts like Garfunkel and Oates, Demetri Martin and more! CW has released the first trailer to their latest DC Superhero show, Black Lightning! He will be the latest DC Superhero to join DC’s Arrow-verse along side Green Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. From the looks of it, we might even be getting more than just Black Lightning in this show, as he will be joined by his two super powered daughters, Thunder and Lightning. Black Lightning will be joining the rest of his DC Superheroes on CW in Fall of 2017.
