Vive La Lolligag! Vinyl Doll Release & Custom Group Show

lolligageventOn brezzy Saturday night, August 28, 2015 in the Richmond District SF, Woot Bear Gallery held the “Vive La Lolligag!” event.  Both an art show featuring a collection of contemporary artist reinterpreting the Lolligag vinyl doll and a final release edition of the Lolligag doll, the grape colorway Lolligag figure.

Art on Guard – Lifeguard Tower Model Kit Show

wootbearlifeguardartshowBaywatch with David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson … well not really.  If you’ve been to the beach for a swim, you usually see a lifeguard tower, well this gallery event is Art on Guard, a show of artists building miniature scale Lifeguard Towers.  This will be the first show of its kind on the West Coast and it will be held tonight at Woot Bear in San Francisco, CA.  Our Retrenders team will be filming the event, so look for our video on our Retrenders’ YouTube channel soon!

Interview with Artist Nathan Jurevicius

anzunathanjThis past weekend, artist Nathan Jurevicius released his latest vinyl creation – the Anzû Sylvan based on the artist Gary Ham’s Sylvan platform.  The 9″ vinyl toy is a tribute to Sumerian/Akkadian mythology.  The Anzû Sylvan is limited to 100 pieces.
