DC Collectibles, the award-winning line of collectibles, is bringing its acclaimed BATMAN: BLACK AND WHITE statue line to Walmart stores as 4″ mini-figures. The new figures are direct transformations of the company’s acclaimed 9″-scale figures and feature designs from many world-renowned artists including Jim Lee, Bruce Timm, Amanda Conner, Darwyn Cooke and many more.

The DC movie we do not need but what we deserve.
As I am typing this review, DC/WB just announced the Super Pets. After watching Teen Titans, this shows a possible route the studio is going towards after the many DC films with the mix reviews it had received.
The film starts off with an action introduction and speeds through the exposition of who each of the members are. The story kicks in gear when they realize the lack of attention they get in comparison to the Justice League. After watching a few trailers showcasing Batman’s gadgets, it wear Robin realize they should get a movie of there own.

Since San Diego Comic Con is so big, we have a special 2 parter for you all this time around! The first half we recorded live at our local comic shop Comic&FigureAddicts and discuss all the exciting toys and figures we spoted at SDCC. in the 2nd half we discuss all the trailers such as Godzilla, Aquaman, and Shazam. CW has released the first trailer to their latest DC Superhero show, Black Lightning! He will be the latest DC Superhero to join DC’s Arrow-verse along side Green Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. From the looks of it, we might even be getting more than just Black Lightning in this show, as he will be joined by his two super powered daughters, Thunder and Lightning. Black Lightning will be joining the rest of his DC Superheroes on CW in Fall of 2017.

I remember watching the 1960s Batman TV show with my grandfather in our living room. We would have a blast watching these reruns. Now to celebrate this iconic TV program, Titan Books has released Batman – A Celebration of the Classic TV Series.

Critics and fans alike may nick pick here and there, but for me it’s an enjoyable escapism. I’m a huge fan of the CW DC superhero universe and make it an appointment television to watch. One of my favorite shows is of course The Flash and The Art and Making of The Flash takes fans behind-the-scenes.

I wish I could go back in time and tell my 1980s self not to damage, throwaway or giveaway my various Kenner DC Super Powers action figures. I was at Walgreens this week and finally spotted the Walgreens exclusive Gentle Giant LTD release of the DC Super Powers Micro Figures. The 2″ PVC figures in Series 1 features Batman, Robin, Joker, The Flash and Lex Luthor. The packaging is reminiscent of the 1980s Kenner DC Super Powers line-up.
