If you like the Star Wars’ Black Series line-up of 3″ and 6″ figures, then this Toys’R’Us exclusive that dropped a few weeks back should be on your “want list.” This is the Black Series – Battle on Endor Pack. This set is for the 3″ Black Series figures which features 8 figures: Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Ewoks Stemzee, Ewoks Chubbray, Imperial Officer, AT-ST Driver and Stormtrooper in this set along with the AT-ST Walker.
On a brezzy night in San Francisco’s Haight/Ashbury area, Kidrobot held a Artist Signing and Release Party for super talented artist Martin Hsu. A few weeks back, Martin released his latest vinyl artwork – “Blacky” – the dragon/dog 4″ figure. The figure is limited to 300 pieces worldwide, so you might want to pick it up, since it’s also sold at a reasonable price of around $25.00USD.
Total Heroes is another line-up of DC Universe 6″ action figures and you can find these figures at big box stores like Target and Wal-Mart. I bought a few of these Total Heroes like Batman and The Flash, since I liked how they look and it was ten bucks. Now these already sold out at Matty Collector, these are Total Heroes Ultra editions, meaning they come with more accessories like various interchangeable faces, hands and weapons. The Batman Beyond figure looks really cool and you can probably find them online somewhere at the $25-35 price range.
I’m a big fan of the Marvel Legends 6″ action figure series since it’s affordable and detailed enough to collect and play with. And when you want to move up to the next step yet can’t afford the Hot Toys pricey $200 per figure, then I would suggest the Figma action figure line-up from the Good Smile Company.

It may look like a simple wooden toy game, it’s not as the Ramen crew finds out! The Ramen crew visits the Kendama USA booth over at Japan Expo: 2nd Impact. The game requires hand eye coordination and is fun for all ages. The “Ken” is the wooden handle that catches the “Tama” the ball and you will be amazed at the many cool tricks you can do.

On July 12, 2014 in Alhambra, CA, Gallery Nucleus and Nickelodeon presented an “official” TMNT art exhibition for the 30th Anniversary. Over 30 artists were involved showcasing TMNT artwork. Also featured, were production stills, memorabilia, storyboards and many other neat things from Nick’ cartoon series. In collaboration with our LA outfit Project 760 Productions we give TMNT-fans a glimpse of what happened at the event.
This is freaking cool – a life-size Iron Man Mark VII Hall of Armor 3D Wall Figure by Bandai Japan in collaboration with Marvel. Officially a 72 inch (!) scale figure, the whole piece has a height of 6.4 feet, a width of 3.1 feet, and a depth of 0.85 feet (which the product description states as “relatively compact”). Other facts: the whole piece is pretty light at nearly 10 lbs, it’s free standing but they recommend the buyer to tie it to a wall, and that it runs close to $400.00USD for this figure. Heck, at that price, I think I can save up for one! Just forego the Mocha Lattes at Starbucks for a couple of months!

HK toy maker Kids Logic is on a roll with their big-head cute Hasbro-approved Transformers G1-style line-up of light-up LED action figures. Here’s the latest from Kids Logic, the Mecha Nations MN03 Transformers Megatron 6″ figure.
Just hitting the retail shelves is a collaboration between Medicom and Takara. The popular toy brick bears meets the transformerable robots in this neat merchandising product line. The 4 figures: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream and Bumblebee figures can transform into their BE@RBRICK form or G1-style robot form. Now that is cool, so just take my wallet and credit cards now!
