The first time I made any type of sushi, it tasted pretty bad. One of the hardest parts is getting the rice just right and the amount of vinegar. Sushi Chef Toyoung Kwak expresses herself through her pottery food plates and “Gimbap.” She splits time between her ceramic studio and restaurant, she has recently opened with her friend Jeomsook Noh.

Coming to a big weekend music festival near you! The world’s biggest bouncy castle will appear at UK music festivals this year. Creator Matt the Hat will debut the bouncy castle at the Common People music festival this weekend in Southampton City Centre. The bouncy castle fits 100 party-goers. It measures 78ft long, 68ft wide, 42ft high and takes 5,000 cubic ft of air to inflate.

Whether it be soju, sake, cocktails, liquor or beer – the hangover will happen, so in South Korea, the problem has been solved with the hangover ice cream bar called Gyeondyo-bar, which translated into US means “Hang in There.” This so-called ice cream cure has grapefruit juice and raisin tree extract to fight the hangover.

Sapporo the capital city of Hakkaido is known for their famous ramen dishes and Only in Japan visits the well-known Ramen Alley aka Ganso Sapporo Ramen Yokocho (元祖さっぽろラーメン横丁). There’s around 17 ramen shops in this tiny alley located in the Susukino Entertainment District. Many of these noodle restaurants have been serving ramen since the 1950s.
