It’s the 60th Diamond Celebration at Disneyland and I just had to go this year. I remember the many family trips, then trips with the cousins, going with college friends and then going as an adult over the years – Disneyland meant something special to me. This epic summer 2016 trip would be with all my cousins and siblings and most of us did a 2-Day Hopper to check out Disneyland and California Adventure.
It is time for me to upgrade my “cosplay” Halloween Iron Man costume. As you can see from the picture above – that Iron Man helmet barely fit me and yes it’s for kids, but I made it work using red duck tape to help expand the helmet because my head is too big.

Another cool looking Samus Aran figure version from Figma coming in December 2016. From the hit Nintendo video game Metroid series comes the Samus Aran Zero Suit Version. The action figure sculpt was designed by Max Factory (Masanori Kuroda, Masu). The articulated figure stands around 5.5″ tall and comes with a display stand.
Fans of the Kidrobot TMNT vinyl toys get a Series 2 release. The 3″ vinyl figures features 14 characters to collect including the chase figures. Look to spend $10 bucks for a blind box and a case for around $200 bucks.
I’m hooked on coloring. Recently when I was at Michaels arts and craft store, I bought some TMNT coloring books and crayons. Dark Horse Comics just announced two adult coloring book releases: Avatar – The Last Airbender and Serenity. The coloring books will feature 45-pages of original artwork on thick paperstock. The 10″x10″ coloring books will cost $14.99USD each.

I played lots of board games with my siblings when we were younger. One game in particular that was fun to play was the classic Screaming Eagles (1987) board game from Milton Bradley. Roll the dice and pick your cards. Somewhat similar and a little more complicated is Fantasy Flight’s new X-Wing Miniatures Game.
