Instead of using wood, I’m thinking of just using LEGO bricks for my staircase!
Google Chrome Build x LEGO
Now you can build your LEGO masterpieces without spending lots of money on bricks. Also you won’t waste time brick building by hand because you can now use Google’s new software Build – a Chrome based LEGO brick building game. It’s cool because you can visualize your LEGO build virtually and make sure everything looks right before you build it with real LEGO pieces.
Headphone Stands by Klutz Design
Now that you bought a pair of kickass headphones, why not proudly display it as a centerpiece for your entertainment center? This can be a nice little conversation starter or, better yet, the envy to all your friends. The stands come in different materials, color, or leather and is currently not available at our local Best Buy – you have to order it online overseas.

Space Invaders Bathroom
Video games have invaded home decor. Not a totally new concept but the idea has mostly been isolated to the wallpaper in junior’s room. This, though, is the first time I have seen video game art placed in a bathroom. On top of that, it’s Space Invaders made with bathroom tiles! I can’t wait until someone comes up with a cool 8-bit Super Mario design done in tiles.

Aston Martin Bicycle
For those who are looking for a simple bike to stroll on a lazy afternoon, look elsewhere, because this thing is the Aston Martin of bikes. Oh wait, it IS an Aston Martin bike. The bike has a leather handlebar and all wiring on the bike are hidden.
The Batman Symbol
The ever-changing iconic Batman symbol through the years:

Miguel Mestre Concept – My Desk
This is such a great idea. I already have a stack of paper on my desk to doodle and take notes, so why not make the stack of paper into a full sized desk? Though this is still a concept design, with this I can finally draw on my table top all I want and still have a clean desk everyday. Although I would hate to spill coffee on this thing.
UNIQLO x Coca-Cola = 2012 Theme Contest
I love Uniqlo and can’t wait until they open their store here in San Francisco, but for now I’ll just read and buy their stuff on the internet. Recently, they held a design contest and they have just announced the winner. This year’s contest Uniqlo was looking for the best Coca Cola themed design. The winner was from Hong Kong, designer Karrie Lee. Big kudos for a fresh take.

The Coolest Library in the World
Here in San Francisco, we have some wonderfully designed public libraries, but this public library in Netherlands takes the cake.
This public library is located in Spijkenisse, Netherlands and “Book Mountain” took two years to complete by the firm MVRDV. Think of this as indoor landscaping architecture.

Anthony Dickens’ Japanese Paper Lanterns
I really like this concept of lighting. Our current lighting setup is very one or two dimensional – it can take several light bulbs to fill up a room. A bunch of fluorescent lights are able to fill up a room but it’s not very appealing to the eye. This concept blends the functionality of lighting with aesthetic sensibilities.

Mixtape Table
This is a real coffee table in the shape of a cassette tape at 12:1 scale. My son, who is 9, has no idea what a cassette tape, turntable, or VCR is. He’s still amazed when I tell him that TV used to be only in black and white. Kids are just so darned funny these days.

Keith Haring x COLORS iPhone case
To be honest, in the beginning I wasn’t a big fan of Keith Haring, but the more art pieces of his that I saw, the more I can appreciate the simple beauty of it. And here is his new project, a collab with Japanese iPhone case maker COLORS.
